Life carries on

We will be away from our computer for a couple days as we work on reconnecting as a family.  We wanted to say thank you again to everyone who has shown us so much love.  I also just had to post these pictures.
My brother-in-law, James Mooney, took these pictures for us.  Check out the sunbeams in these pictures!  I feel like Drew is hugging me every time I look at them.

Peyton, Drew and I chose a kite for Daddy for his birthday and Peyton decided he wanted a shark one to fly at the same time.  I chose a butterfly for Drew and I.  Sunday after the memorial service this is how we spent our time.  Peyton has so much life about him, we can't sit and mourn for long.  What a blessing.

We'll write more soon.

If Drew had only 14 months to spend on earth, it's no wonder God put him into your beautiful family. Love and hugs to all of you during your time of healing. We're still praying for you.

You have such strength and hope. What a beautiful thing to give a child no matter how long they are with you! Enjoy your time together reconnecting and know that there are so many lessons you and your beautiful family have taught the rest of us just by being who you are and sharing that with us. Heartfelt prayers and gratitude to all of you.

Though it's been a long time, I'm reminded in your sharing of how much I admired you both in college. What strength you show in your family to love with all you have even though it means hurting with all you have as well. I'm praying for you all. Jen (Hutch) Gorham

Just wanted you to know that we're still thinking about you and lifting you up in prayer daily! The sunbeams in the pictures are beautiful, just like Drew!

This is an amazing story. I know you don't know me, but I read about your story from Erin Lonard's blog. Then today, my friend Jenny Hefty gave me your info because she knew Jordan from Harding. I cannot believe your strength, faith and courage through this. We have a little boy that is 18 months my heart just bleeds for you. My Husband Earle and I's prayers are with you. I look forward to meeting you in the next month or so.
In Him,
Carrie Brown

Still thinking of you all the time, Kari. I love the part in Drew's video where you took him swimming. Of course you introduced him to that early on! Takes me back to our swimming days. :) I hope your family time is bringing you healing.
Love,
Melinda
